Consultation on Admission Policy for 2026 to 2027

Schools and academies must consult on their Admission policy, even if there are no changes, every 7 years.

The academy is therefore consulting regarding the admission policy for the academic year 2026 to 2027 from 6th December 2024 until 17th January 2025.

The only change to the policy is:

  • Addition of Children of Staff to the oversubscription criteria

During the consultation period, the draft Admission Policy for entry in the academic year 2026 to 2027 will be available below to view and download.

If you have any comments on the proposed policy, please forward them electronically to enquiries@cyac.org.uk for the attention of Mrs J.Biglands by Friday 17th January 2025.

The determined policy will then be published on the academy website by 15th March 2025 and will be available as a link through the Local Authorities website.

Our parents say we are:

"A wonderfully inclusive school which puts the care of students front and centre"

Come and join us on our journey towards excellence for all.
MARK MIDGLEY - HEADTEACHER

At Caistor Yarborough Academy we provide a personalised and inclusive learning environment which nurtures and values every student through an ethos of Excellence for All.

A key strength is the feeling of inclusion, community and support together with academic success. Everyone is valued as an individual, giving students the confidence to develop a thirst for knowledge in pursuit of their aspirations to be the best they can be. These aspirations are supported by a curriculum designed to be relevant to today’s world, which prepares students for the next stage whether it be further study, apprenticeships or the world of work. Students speak positively about the Academy and their experiences, appreciating the way they are challenged and supported with clear visions and strategies for how to succeed.

Our Academy enjoys a fabulous setting with views across the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds – but without doubt, our greatest assets are our students and staff. Our students are our best ambassadors, and we strongly recommend that you come and visit us on an ordinary day when we’ll be delighted to give you a warm welcome and show you around.
