At Caistor Yarborough Academy, we aim to provide a range of opportunities for students engage with employers and businesses, as well as experience both Post 16 and Post 18 education. Every October, we host a Careers and Employability Discovery Day, where students undertake sessions and workshops to understand the many elements of the world of work and the different routes available into a variety of job roles and careers. Our links with our external partners allow us to ensure that students in Year 7 to Year 11 are able to meet with a range of local employers and businesses.

For our Year 10 students, we aim to ensure they are able to experience what College and University life is like, with visits to Franklin College Grimsby, Lincoln College and Lincoln University as well as visits to the North East Lincolnshire Careers Fair at Grimsby Auditorium, where students can meet a range of local employers and industries.
