Welcome to Caistor Yarborough Academy

Modern Foreign Languages

Within the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department at Caistor Yarborough Academy we offer students the opportunity to study Spanish at Key Stage 3 and 4.  Currently, in Key Stage 4 students study Spanish in Year 10 and French is being studied by Year 11. In future years Spanish will be the main language offered to all students.

In addition to focusing on language learning we also encourage Key Stage 3 students to learn more about Spanish culture through mini projects, films and history. We also have popular food cooking and tasting sessions to allow students to experience real Spanish cuisine.
